Last Copies! Revue Faire No. 1 / Available at www.draw-down.com / The very first issue of Revue Faire [To Look at Things]. This issue is composed of a text (“Rouge-gorge, Éditions cent pages by SpMillot”), with accompanying images, by graphic design educator and theorist Thierry Chancogne. Dealing with the #graphicdesign practice of spMillot (Sophie Millot and Philippe Millot), particularly their design of books, with a particular treatment of the works they designed for the Rouge-gorge [Red throat / Robin] collection of the French publisher Editions Cent Pages, this first issue reveals the possibility of a focused essay that supplements the contemporary understanding of graphic design history and practice. Includes a glossary of terms. Revue Faire, launched in 2017, is a regularly published critical publication dedicated to the analysis of graphic design, with a particular focus on France, and a broader focus on graphic design in Europe. Each year, 15 bilingual (French and English) 20-page issues are planned to be published. The series works with various invited authors; each issue documents a unique, tentacular subject of interest to graphic designers. Designed and edited by #SachaLéopold and #FrançoisHavegeer with #KévinLartaud #RevueFaire
